Chocolate Biscuit Slices
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces butter or margarine
- 5 tablespoons honey
- 7 ounces plain chocolate
- 7 ounces Graham crackers
Directions:
- Line a loaf pan with non stick paper.
- Break the chocolate into small pieces.
- Put the butter or margarine into a heavy saucepan with the honey and half of the chocolate. Heat gently until everything has melted.
- Place the crackers onto a large clean board and crush with a rolling pin until they are crumbs. Or you can use a food processor.
- Add them to the chocolate mixture, and stir them well until they are thoroughly mixed. Spoon the mixture into the pan and press it down with the back of a spoon.
- Melt the rest of the chocolate by giving it a quick buzz in the microwave. If you don’t have a microwave, melt it in a toughened glass Pyrex type bowl set in a large of simmering water.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the graham cracker mixture.
- Refrigerate, and then cut into slices with a sharp breadknife to serve.
